Daniela Williams, LCMHC, NCC

If you are having trouble seeing the beauty in life, Wilmington, NC native, Daniela Williams is honored to help you gain a new perspective. She is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. Daniela holds degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Liberty University. She has over 14 years of experience working with children and adults in a variety of capacities from educational consulting and advocacy to community mental health.

While Daniela’s therapeutic interests are wide and varied she has increased interest in the areas of  infertility diagnoses, postpartum anxiety/depression, parental coaching, marital and premarital counseling.

She provides individual, family, and couple’s therapy using an integrative and eclectic approach to therapy. Additionally, she has a foundational approach rooted in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Motivational Interviewing as modalities for change. Daniela enjoys these modalities due to the client-centered approach and the ability to elicit change from within.

Joining the Community Counseling Center for Daniela has been a perfect opportunity to connect  her professional and personal missions to provide quality mental health care to the community and reduce the stigma of mental health care in her community.
