Who we are

Since 1970, the Community Counseling Center has been shaped by our community. What began as neighbors coming together to provide care has grown into a place where our community supports one another through life’s challenges and celebrates each other’s resilience.

Our Roots

Born from the vision of several local Presbyterian churches, The Presbyterian Counseling Center was created to meet the mental health needs of our community without stigma and financial barriers.

Continuing the Mission

Nearly fifty years later, we are still guided by the mission of providing hope and healing for all. Our entire community is stronger through every session and every program. All made possible by the people who live here and invest in each other’s well-being.

People are hurting, and financial barriers should not prevent a person from receiving the help needed. Our mission to provide hope and healing for all is why, and I am proud to be a therapist here at the Center.
